About the Role:
Lead and inspire the Brand Insights team as the powerhouse behind our understanding of the consumer. Champion the authentic voice of our guests, transforming data into sharp, actionable insights that shape brand strategy. Own the pulse of brand performance—uncovering hidden opportunities for growth, elevating guest perceptions through continuous feedback analysis, and driving research that fuels smarter creative and marketing decisions. Also serve as our expert on category trends, competitive movements, and cultural conversations through social listening. Leadership will ensure the team delivers high-impact intelligence that pushes the brand—and the business—forward.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the development and deployment of surveys or other forms of research to assess consumer needs or wants, evaluate business drivers, and use findings to identify and capitalize on strategic business opportunities.
- Shape study designs and approve questionnaires and discussion guides, ensuring appropriate scope (markets, target audiences, actionable information collected) is captured based on research objectives. Ensure high standards of methodological rigor and analytical integrity.
- Integrate syndicated data and third-party sources to contextualize brand performance within broader market dynamics.
- Assess findings, including buying habits and consumer opinions, and develop product or marketing recommendations meant to drive value, improve market penetration, or increase sales. Closely involved with final analysis and presentation of results to Leadership and cross-functional team members.
- Present thoughtful, actionable insights to cross-functional teams on a regular basis, including Leadership.
- Manage and develop external research partners to ensure high-quality delivery, cost efficiency, and continuous innovation in research approaches.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal teams to act as a trusted strategic advisor. Act as a liaison with other cross-functional team members.
- Contribute to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management. Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
